We all have a social responsibility to give back to the community in one way or another. This is especially important for businesses as they regularly interact with the public. Businesses thrive because of their communities, and it makes sense that we in turn help and support them.
Jasmine Daya & Co. has participated in various fundraising events in support of important causes. Some of these events include:
CIBC Run for the Cure
Breast cancer continues to be the most commonly diagnosed cancer among Canadian women and touches the lives of so many families every day. The CIBC Run for the Cure is a 5k and 1k walk/run that gives families, friends and supporters the opportunity to come together and raise funds in support of breast cancer research.
Daily Bread Food Drive
Daily Bread Food Bank provides support to over 135 member agencies’ food banks and also supplies homemade meals to agencies that operate shelters or drop-in programs throughout Toronto. They often hold food drives and fundraisers throughout the year to help support families in need.
Annual SickKids Foundation Toy Drive
SickKids Foundation believes that fighting for the health and well-being of children is one of the most powerful ways to improve society, and we couldn’t agree more. The SickKids Foundation Toy Drive has become an annual tradition and a special event for the firm.
The Children’s Breakfast Club Bicycle Program
The Children’s Breakfast Club is a non-profit charitable organization that provides nutritious breakfast meals, emotional support, and social/intellectual stimulation to children in the Greater Toronto Area at over 20+ clubs. Their Bicycle Program provides bicycles and safety equipment to children in need.
Our team sincerely enjoys taking part in these charity events and giving back to our community. It’s great for team-building and has given us an opportunity to come together for a common goal and a good cause.
